Terry Dukerschein

Fiber Artist and Poet

Terry’s passions are woods, water wool and words.

She is a fiber artist that works mainly in wool and other animal fibers and some in silk. She and her husband Russell raise purebred, registered Shetland sheep on their conservation-friendly hobby farm, Glen Tamarack Farm, just north of Glen Flora, WI.

Terry is also a published poet and lifetime member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets (WFOP). Her articles and poems have appeared in various Wisconsin Poets’ Calendars, newspapers, newsletters and scientific or literary journals. Awards for her poetry include a Golden Scroll Award from the La Crosse Writer’s Club and a Barbara Stevens Memorial Award, 3rd Place (South Dakota State Poets)

Other arts-related memberships include Northern Lights Handspinner’s Guild in the Twin Cities, MN, North Central Wisconsin Fiber Artists, and Flambeau Area Fiber Artists.
