Unique Wood Boxes

Rusk County Wisconsin forests and fire wood piles are soures of wood for Sue and Clarence’s original unique keepsake boxes. Some logs are acquired on their travels.

Sue shapes and designs, using natural characteristics (knots, bark, grain, carrs, splating or fungi) with an eye for the beauty of the wood.

Clarence fine sands, keeps tools in top condition and has and eye for weak spots in wood to avoid.

Boxes are finished natural with tung oil urethane formula being hand rubbed between coats. Drawers are lined with suede-tex.

Clarence and Sue craft and reside in Northern Wisconsin, 11 miles south of Ladysmith.
